Microsoft launches crime fighting software in Australia

AFP Commissioner Mick Keelty says the software will help officers sift through large volumes of evidence as well as match cases locally with similar ones overseas.
"Today's announcement will strengthen the AFP's global online presence in actively policing the internet community," he said.
Originally developed by Microsoft in conjunction with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, CETS uses a combination of XML-based web services, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, SharePoint Services and SQL Server.
