Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
Available from September 28, the Internet TV beta will deliver TV and video content to Vista's Media Center.
More than 100 hours of content sourced from MSN Video will be available from the outset, including full episodes of Arrested Development and other TV shows, full-length music concerts (including Chris Cornell, Snoop Dogg, Elton John, Pink, John Mayer and the Pussycat Dolls), movie trailers, MSNBC news segments, and clips from Fox Sports.
The content is free to view, but ad-supported. Microsoft will use the YuMe advertising platform. YuMe claims to offer advertisers "brand safe" content, and matches ads with content: "no more beauty ads in video about football." It can deliver ads before, during or after content, or as banners or watermarks.
"YuMe offers a platform that can meet our ad serving, targeting, and inventory management requirements for the new Internet TV Beta," said Dan Poling, director of advertising for Windows Media Center.

Unlike MSN Video, Internet TV has been designed for viewing on TVs (via Extenders for Windows Media Center) or PCs, and features high-quality video.
