Kingston bundles recovery software with fast CF cards

Business IT - Technology

If doubling the write speed of its CompactFlash Ultimate cards wasn't enough, Kingston is offering free data recovery software to help restore lost, deleted or corrupted image files.

The MediaRECOVER software is available for Windows and Mac.

Offered in 2G, 4G and 8G models, the CompactFlash Ultimate cards are now rated at 266x, twice that previously offered.

"Photographers using digital SLR cameras are looking for faster card write speeds to capture life's moments as they happen without interruption," said Vaughan Nankivell, Kingston's regional manager for Australia and New Zealand.

The cards range in price from $A115/$US83 to $A395/$US280.
