IT management software company CA has announced a partnership with the Australian finance arm of the Virgin conglomerate, Virgin Money, to offer PC security to Virgin Money's credit card customers.
The Virgin Credit Card Mates Rates program offers customers PC security
using CA's VET Internet Security Suite for a monthly fee which is
deducted from the credit card.
Michelle Casey, consumer programs manager, CA, said, "CA's consumer
business has already achieved great success with more than a quarter of
a million VET subscribers in Australia. To continue this progress, CA
is focused on developing partnerships to grow business opportunities in
Australia which will help CA to become the number two player in the
consumer market. Our partnership with Virgin Money is a step toward
achieving this and is the first of many affiliate partnership deals we
intend to pursue."
Carole Donaghy, director of cards, Virgin Money, said, "Mates Rates is
all about offering our cardholders instant rewards and special offers
from Australia's top retailers. CA is a perfect partner for our program
as it provides a market leading solution that will help protect
Australians from the growing threat of PC menaces."
CA VET Internet Security Suite will cost Virgin Money Credit Card
customer holders $5.50 a month (including GST) and is automatically
debited from customer's credit card each month. Virgin Money will
promote the offer to its 650,000 credit cardholders throughout
Australia.
