Telstra has revealed the addition of almost one million new mobile services in the six months to December 2011, but Sensis revenues plummeted 24 percent in 12 months.
D-Link's latest IP security camera doesn't require a special application running on a PC. Instead, it can store footage directly to a file server or NAS device.
The D-Link DCS-3410 Fixed Network Camera features a built-in Samba client allowing the storage of video or still images on NAS or a server.
It also supports 3GPP Mobile Surveillance for access from compatible Internet-ready mobile phones.
Other features include low-light (0.3 Lux) operation, compatibility with CS mount accessories, Power over Ethernet for ease of installation, built-in microphones, and audio output.
Video can be simultaneously streamed in MPEG-4 and MJPEG formats.
The DCS-3410 can be managed from D-Link's own D-ViewCam 2.0 software or by third-party applications.
"The new feature-rich D-Link DCS-3410 network camera provides professional digital surveillance solutions for small, medium and large organisations requiring state-of-the-art security monitoring," said Maurice Famularo, marketing director for D-Link Australia and New Zealand.
"Even when there is little or no light, this camera provides outstanding picture quality and offers user-friendly features, flexible connectivity and convenient remote monitoring capabilities," he added.
