“Our SMB customers in particular have been requesting a
hosted email security service as they seek to reduce capital
expenditure to maximise cash flow.”
Hulse says the service can also be deployed in a hybrid environment.
“Customers who like the ability to control outgoing communications at
their gateway while at the same time blocking spam and virus in the
cloud can also deploy the new MailMarshal as a Service coupled with
on-premise MailMarshal SMTP installations. Together, they can deliver
the best multi-layered protection and still offer maximum user control.
“This is a great opportunity for our resellers to use MailMarshal as a
Service to facilitate fast ROI amongst their customers and to
capitalise on the growing cloud computing trend in Australia and New
Zealand.”
According to YOURasp’s regional sales manager, Bob Grove, MailMarshal as a Service can be up and running within an hour.
“By providing the infrastructure and managing the back end, we remove
any implementation and maintenance complexities for customers.
Customers know that by using a cloud-based email security solution, it
is always up to date and they are always protected from the latest
security threats.”
Spam continues to consume valuable business resources and threaten the
security of information, according to Marshal8e6, and the company says
almost 91 percent of all global email is spam.
On pricing for its new MailMarshal as a Service solution, Marshal8e6
says it has priced it on a per user per month basis, with customers
able to choose from four different offering bundles and MailMarshal as
a Service with anti-spam starting at A$2.50 per user per month for up
to 200 users.
