Littleproud says Wilcox was managing director for several international companies and worked in senior specialist roles at Symantec and IBM, and was a co-founder of one of Australia’s earliest ISPs.

According to Littleproud, David Elliott, as partner sales manager for Australia and New Zealand, will bring to McAfee “well-established skills in international sales, channel strategy, and business development and plans to apply his knowledge to further McAfee’s sales productivity and competitive advantage.”

A 20-plus year IT sales and marketing veteran, Elliott has worked for companies including EMC, Nortel, Alteon WebSystems, 3Com Corporation, Scitec Communications and Bull Information Systems.

Commenting on his new hires, Littleproud says they are “very experienced executives and they will help us to further develop our leadership position in the security marketplace.”
