Despite the current economic environment, which he
describes as “challenging”, Littleproud says McAfee continues to
deliver strong business results and this is the platform on which he
claims McAfee is building industry leadership.
“Customers from enterprise to consumers continue
to see the value in our unique and comprehensive security solutions,
which provide improved protection, increased manageability and better
return on their security investments.”
On the new executive appointments, Littleproud says Jacqui Donovan, as
McAfee’s APAC regional marketing director, will focus on growing
McAfee’s profile and market share across Asia Pacific, developing
emerging market growth strategies and driving sales demand for the
company’s security solutions.
Littleproud says Donovan, with more than 20 years experience in the
software industry, was Symantec’s first employee in the Asia Pacific
region, where she was responsible for the creation of that company’s
international marketing & product management function to support
all international markets.
David Sykes - responsible for McAfee's strategic accounts and alliances in Asia Pacific - says Littleproud, also worked with Symantec, where he was
managing director and VP of the Pacific region and senior director of
Symantec’s enterprise business based in Hong Kong. Sykes also worked
with Computer Associates, including as Australian general manager and
New Zealand managing director.
The appointment of Paul Wilcox as lead specialist, Asia Pacific – risk
and compliance, Littleproud says, adds 20 years experience in the IT
industry to McAfee’s top management team.
