This brings to 13 the number of mini-conferences which will take place on the first two days of the 2013 conference. Better known as LCA, it is scheduled to take place at the Australian National University in Canberra from from January 28 to February 2.
The three mini-confs devoted to programming are on open programming, developer automation and continuous integration, and browsers.
The programming mini-conf will give developers the opportunity to present talks on the techniques and practices they use with free and open source tools.
The browser mini-conf will look at new and open technologies that improve the experience of users.
Early bird registrations for the conference open on October 1.
