A new switch from Netgear is aimed at mid-market customers that can take advantage of its 10G connectivity.
The GS752TXS switch can be stacked in groups of up to six, providing full redundancy in the event of one switch failing. A stack can be managed as if it was a single switch.
Other features include Layer 2 management, superior switching performance, and advanced security including dynamic VLAN assignment.
"Smart switches are a great product for mid-market businesses looking for value and future-proof scalability. With the launch of Netgear's ProSafe 48-port Gigabit Smart Switch with four 10G SFP+ slots, SMBs can now benefit from 10-gigabit connectivity to server, storage or their core network ensuring the highest performance," said Ryan Parker, managing director, Netgear Australia and New Zealand.
"This product reaffirms NETGEAR's commitment to providing enterprise-performance networking solutions for every business," he added.
The GS752TXS costs $3149.
