Business Packs are bundles of services introduced by iiNet in February that comprise broadband Internet access, phone, VoIP, domain name registration, web hosting, online storage, static IP addresses and a Google Adwords voucher.

They were part of a push by iiNet to increase its revenue from business customers. CEO Michael Malone said in March, "We are very happy with the way our business [segment] is growing. It will be $34m this year, but that is still only seven or eight percent of our business."

Bader told ExchangeDaily yesterday: "[iiNet Business] is growing at about 30 percent per year and we expect it to be about 10 percent of our revenues next year. We have the network and the infrastructure and we are finally getting our head around how we reach this market'¦We have a dedicated support team and we are playing around with some ides for the future, such as on site support and remote management. We are serious about this market and we consider it to be a good growth space for us."

He added: "We have been doing a number of workshops and sessions with the business community'¦But we have to build our own brand in this area."

The initiative to target the business market dates back to early 2008 when iiNet launched a new reseller programme and accompanying reseller web portal.
