ERP software vendor IFS has updated their ERP software with BI integration, putting business information in front of users while they work.

'BI by Choice, BI Built in' is designed to cater to organisations with a clear BI tool preference.  IFS customers are able to integrate their own BI tools into the IFS ERP applications. Integration with Microsoft's BI solution is available out of the box. The 'BI Built in' concept is designed to make BI part of the day-to-day business process by building BI capabilities built right into the user interface. Integration between IFS Applications and third-party BI solutions are placed on a higher level than the basic transaction level, making it possible to 'plug and play' any BI suite to IFS Applications while retaining the integrated, complete user experience.

'We continue to invest in our BI offering. IFS's BI strategy represents a company-wide commitment - from R&D's long-term product planning to the BI Groups' customer-focused consulting, IFS focuses on delivering real business value at every stage,' said Thomas Säld, VP Research & Development, IFS.

IFS customers in Australia and New Zealand include Visy, AB Equipment, Babcock, Dairy Australia, Lufthansa Technik Qantas, Uhde Shedden,  Hawker Pacific, Execujet and Globus Group.
