Fujitsu offers SAP appliance for real-time data analysis

SAP's HANA in-memory appliance software is now available to Fujitsu's infrastructure customers.
SAP HANA is a data source agnostic appliance for analysing business data in memory for rapid results. Fujitsu's servers, storage and network infrastructure have now been validated by SAP, making it one of the first vendors to offer a SAP-validated platform for HANA.

In addition to provisioning and integration, Fujitsu also develops and supports applications built on HANA using SAP BusinessObjects.

"We recognise that businesses need the ability to make vital choices at the speed of thought - because windows of opportunity do not stay open for long," said Les Smith, Fujitsu ANZ's solutions manager for SAP EPM, business analytics and HANA.

"Previous tools could not process data sufficiently quickly to support real time decision making. With SAP HANA running on and supported by Fujitsu, customers will have unparalleled insight into data, whatever the size of organisation," he added.
